The Meyersville Grange

The Grange is a rural community and fraternal organization with about 4,000 chapters nationwide. Founded in 1867, its special interest is agriculture, but it also supports local community social functions and donates to charities.

Our chapter  is located in the village of Meyersville,New Jersey about ten minutes from Morristown and situated on the edge of the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. We are the only chapter left in Morris County. See Longhillnj web site for more information.

About Us

We invite you to enjoy our events--even if you're not a member. Just come and have fun with us. If you want to be a member and help with ideas and activities in our community the annual due is $15. Call Litty Hado for application 908-647-7321. Next meeting Jan 14th at 7:30 pm at the Grange.

Directions: From Rt 78 take exit 40 Hillcrest Rd to Mountain Ave.(531 N). Go over two mountains and at the top of  the second you'll be going downhill on Meyersville Rd. Follow this to the bottom and go halfway around a circle, a little left of Casa Maya Restaurant. The Grange is on your lift about 1/2 mile. From Rt 287 take esit 30 toward Basking Ridge, stay on North Maple, which becomes South Maple(Rt 657), which then turns into Long Hill Rd at the top of the hill.( bear left. Watch for left turn onto Meyersville Rd. at a stop sign after St Joseph's Shrine. The rest is the same as above.

Calendar of events Soup and Pasta Contest with Square Dance Afterwards -Our new 2001-2002 season is almost here! The next event is on Jan 18th, soup is on at 6:30 pm and square dancing begins at 7:30pm.  This is one of the most popular social events and its always sold out. Bring your favorite soup or pasta, or just come with a friend to a tasting feast and good old time music. Each person gets to vote on his or her favorite soups, and at the end of the evening the five top vote-getters receive prizes. The square dance starts afterwards with live music provided by the Long Hill String band. Home made desserts and coffee and refreshments are always available. COME AND HAVE A GREAT TIME. The cost of entry is $4 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. Note, if you bring a soup or pasta you get in for free. A Fanciful Food Tasting event will take place at the Grange in Mar. Some of New Jersey's best restaurants will participate such as The Manor, Sinclare's, Sestri,Meyersville Inn among others.
